Is Best Kept free?
Browsing walks is free, and following any walk on your own is free. If you ask a Local to guide you through their walk in person, you pay the Local directly at the price they set — Best Kept takes nothing in this version.
Do you review submissions?
Yes. Every walk is reviewed by hand before it goes live. We look for real neighborhood knowledge, honest recommendations, and stops that would survive a friend's scrutiny.
How do I book a guided walk?
Open the walk, scroll to the guided option at the bottom, and send a request. The Local replies directly to your email — usually within a day or two — to confirm date, meeting point, and payment.
How do I pay the Local?
Directly, however they prefer — usually cash, MB Way, or bank transfer, agreed when they reply to your request. No card processing through Best Kept (yet).
Can I submit a walk for a city outside Lisbon?
Not yet. We're keeping it to Lisbon until the format earns the right to grow.
