Best Kept is a directory of personal recommendations and a way to contact the people who made them. Use it kindly. Locals write their own walks; we review submissions but we don't verify every claim and we're not responsible for what happens when you walk a route or meet a Local in person. Walks booked through Best Kept are agreements between you and the Local — payment, scheduling, and conduct are between the two of you. You may not scrape, republish, or resell content from the site. If something feels off, write to hello@victorsantos.co.

Best Kept is a platform for discovering and sharing walks. Any paid in-person walks arranged through the platform are independent arrangements between the Local and the Wanderer. Locals are solely responsible for complying with any applicable local laws or registration requirements related to offering paid tourism services — in Portugal, this includes the rules administered by Turismo de Portugal. Best Kept does not provide, manage, insure, or warrant these in-person walks; we make the introduction and nothing more.
